Richmond County Friends of the Library Richmond County Friends of the Library There are Friends of the Library groups for all three Richmond County Public Libraries, although the Ellerbe and Hamlet groups are in the process of re-organization. The Friends of the Thomas H. Leath Memorial Library present one or two author events a year, hold an annual used book sale, and provide equipment or other gifts to the library to meet special needs. Dues are $5.00 individual and $10.00 for families. Higher levels of support are also available. Contact the Friends group through Leath Memorial Library at 910.895.6337.
