SRLS Board of Trustees The Sandhill Regional Library System is under the direction of a governing board of 15 members, equitably distributed from each of the counties affiliated with the system. Board members are appointed from members of local boards, where they exist. Term of office is six years with a limitation of two terms. The Regional Board employs and discharges the Director of Libraries, who may employ and discharge personnel within each member library with the approval of the applicable board. Operating policies of SRLS are assembled in notebook form and are available for ready reference to staffs of all the libraries in the Region.
